Van Briggle Art Pottery Gorgeous LORELEI White White Fine Vase 11" Tall Mid to late 60's
Excellent to perfect condition, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs, bought from original owner as 1 of 7 pieces at a Boulder CO. estate sale in mid 70's,
was told the recently past relative had earlier in life worked at VB.
11 inches tall, very crisp great mold, ultra great lines on this series and it shows, really white, smooth craze-less fine glaze! widens/tapers to normal 4 to 4.5 inches down to a base of 3 inches, correct VB Script for era, marked with initial "A" designating Anita Gurney as the finisher of this piece, she worked at VB from late 60's to mid 70's, looks to be an earlier, very crisp wonderful mold, beautiful example, flawless!!
Had 5 of these, sold the oldest most expensive one first, then a 2nd, the 3rd one, now down to 2 this and another currently listed at 995.00 but last night wife & moi decided w are keeping the Sea Blue-Green with Purple Misting all over for us. Last LORELEI from a Quintet in the VB lighted hall cabinet!
