The In-Line Round Bar or Tube Holder for Flat Surface can be used as a start or termination between a newel post, ceiling or walls. It also works as in-line holder for square newel post, walls and any flat surface.
It is a convenient and easy way to install rods or tubes for outdoor or indoor use. Its design makes it ideal to retrofit existing railings for a more modern look. No need to drill through newels & posts. And no special tools are required either – measurement tape, drill, screwdriver, and a hex key are all that’s needed.
Installing rods in closets or work spaces is easy with this bracket and provides a contemporary look.
This Stainless Steel Round Bar / Tube Holder for flat surfaces will attach to any flat surface like square newel posts, walls, and ceilings. The 0.49" /12.3 round bar goes all the way through this bar holder. Installation is straightforward with the use of a drill, screws and hex head key.
Designed to meet and hold ~1/2" (max. 12.3 mm diameter) stainless steel round bars / tubes
304 stainless steel grade quality suitable for interior or exterior use
Square base 47mm, total height 19.6 – 20mm
Hexagonal socket set 4 mm screw
Satin/Brushed finish
Drill, screwdriver, and Allen wrench required for installation
Installation:
Cut rod to loosely fit between mounting surfaces (newels, walls)
Slide brackets onto rod/tube as shown in picture
Position rod/tube between mounting surfaces, slide brackets toward wall/newel, use Allen wrench to lightly secure bracket with hex screw.
Adjust position of brackets on flat surface as desired/needed. Use water level if necessary to ensure rod is level.
Mark hole positions, loosen hex screws, and slide out rod.
Drill 1/64" diameter pilot holes.
Position rod/tube between mounting surfaces, slide brackets toward wall/newel and line up with pilot holes.
Attach flat bar/tube holder base to surface. If attaching to wall or wood use wood screws.
Tighten hex head set screw to secure bar/tube holder and rods/tubes.
